Custom Art for a Black, White, and Gold Bathroom

"I want something simple and interesting to look at when I get out of the shower."
I knew that I wanted movement that complements her mirrors. Blue is her favorite color, so I wanted a simple color palette - white, black, gold, and some shiny blues.
I painted this with a white base, Payne's Gray, Interference Gold, and a mix of some mica powders from This Little Piggy (TLP). (a blue-gray mix and Wild Atlantic TLP)
Once the painting was fully cured, I touched up the gold cells and some of the blues so that they would stand out. And then, I added my favorite "extra" touch - two lines of gold leaf.
